Upon completion of the first stage of construction, the site will include over 500,000 square feet of raised floor space in three distinct data center buildings. Scott brings over 21 years of experience with government system integrators, co-location and hosting service providers, and Federal government operations to his role as Vice President of the QTS Federal Systems Group, where he leads the company's government-facing sales team that helps drive efficiencies so strongly desired by government agencies and contractors.
Prior to joining QTS, Scott served in senior Business Development and Program Management roles for SAIC and General Dynamics overseeing projects that provided intelligence and cyber security services and devices to customers including the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the US Air Force.
While in government service, Scott served as an Air Force Intelligence Operations Officer, and as a Special Agent with the FBI. Scott holds a Master's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, and a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy.
